How to safely negotiate those higher exams!

This is a day designed to help you understand what it takes to pass a diploma exam. Every feature will be covered from entry to exit! There will be opportunities not only to play but also to prepare sightreading tests, take a viva voce and submit programme notes for discussion.

10:00-11:15
 Session 1: Performance Masterclass

3 performers will have the opportunity to have their pieces looked at through an examiners’ eye.

11:15-11:30
 Coffee
11:30-1:00
 Session 2: Supporting Tests

This session will cover how to prepare for sightreading tests, the best ways to successfully negotiate a Viva Voce and tips on writing programme notes.
1:00-2:00
 Lunch

Take the opportunity to browse in Europe’s foremost flute shop!
2:00-3:30
 Session 3: Performance Masterclass

Another 3 performers will be put through their paces.
3:30-3:45
 Tea
3:45-5:00
 Session 4: Mock Diploma Exam!

Here we will mark all the elements of the exam – then we’ll all know what we’re looking for!
